Caleb Homesley is ready to bring his skills to Turkiye once again, after a season with Gran Canaria in Spain, sources tell BasketNews. He played a big part in his team reaching the Eurocup finals this season.
Highlights from the 2024-25 Campaign
Homesley had a noticeable season, averaging 12.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists in Eurocup regular season. On the day 2 April 2025, Caleb Homesley had one of his memorable nights in Eurocup semifinals, having a 19-piece game against his very new team Bahcesehir Istanbul and leading Gran Canaria to the finals.
He played 34 games in the Spanish League, averaged 13.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 19 minutes per game.
Earlier Experience in Turkiye and His Future
If we take a small glimpse to his first experience in Turkiye during the 2023-24 season, we can see that he received significantly more minutes to play back in Tofaş Bursa. In 41 games total; he averaged 15.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steal. After the departure of Şehmus Hazer, Bahçeşehir Istanbul wants to replace him with Homesley, so the 28-year-old guard will get more minutes to show himself, compared to his last season in Spain.
