Panathinaikos is eyeing a major move for the 2025/26 season: According to Backdoorpodcast.com, the Greek club has set its sights on Dante Exum, currently with the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. The 29-year-old Australian guard, who played for Partizan Belgrade in the EuroLeague during the 2022-23 season, could be set for a European return.

Exum, the former No. 5 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, is posting solid numbers in the 2024-25 NBA season: 8.7 points, 2.8 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game, with a 43.4% three-point shooting rate. After a successful stint with Partizan under coach Željko Obradović (2022-23), Exum could bolster Panathinaikos’ backcourt with his versatility and experience. The club, which has won at least one title every year since 1996, aims to reclaim EuroLeague glory—last achieved in 2011—with such high-profile signings. Will Exum be the next star in green?
