Besiktas Upsets Anadolu Efes 82-75 As They Advance to The Turkish Basketball Super League Finals

On a tough and thrilling night in Istanbul, Besiktas Fibabanka secured a huge 82-75 win at their home court against Anadolu Efes in Game 5 and they reached to the Finals, facing with the reigning champions Fenerbahce Beko.

Besiktas had some problems on the attacking side, as they had 24 turnovers tonight, but Anadolu Efes couldn’t take advantage of that with their transition plays. Jonah Mathews led the black and whites with 28 points, 6/12 three point shot performance. On the other side, Efes was shooting only 4/23 from the three point line, which was an important detail for tonight’s loss for them. Besiktas also got more contributions from the local players, Yigit Arslan helped his team with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.

Besiktas having a great season so far with Dusan Alimpijevic. They surely want to finish this season in the best way and get the championship, but another tough game is ahead for them with the Euroleague champions, Fenerbahce Beko.
