BuzzSport.de has exclusively learned from sources close to Bayern Munich that Vladimir Lučić has turned down a €600,000 offer from Partizan Belgrade and is likely to sign a new contract with Bayern. Partizan was keen on bringing the Serbian captain back this summer, even willing to offer a higher deal, but Lučić once again declined a return to Belgrade. This isn’t the first time Lučić has rejected Partizan—similar scenarios unfolded in past seasons, though this transfer window presented the biggest chance for his return to the black-and-whites.

As BuzzSport.de previously reported, Partizan had been eager to sign Lučić, with Željko Obradović stating the club aimed to bring back domestic talents like Lučić and Nikola Milutinov, but to no avail. The 35-year-old Lučić has been a cornerstone for Bayern since joining in 2016, earning All-EuroLeague First Team honors in 2020/21. His current contract with Bayern expires in June 2025, but it now appears he will extend his stay and continue his career in Munich.

Lučić’s decision suggests he will likely finish his career at Bayern Munich, where he has already spent a significant portion of his professional journey. While Partizan dreamed of an emotional homecoming, Lučić remains focused on Bayern, which enters the BBL playoffs as the top seed.
