The strong rim protector averaged 9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 0.8 assists with a 12.4 PIR over 22 minutes in 33 EuroLeague games this season. While dominant in the paint and dunking, his shooting remains a weakness, aligning with Valencia’s need at the “C” position.
Roster Changes in Motion
With Semi Ojeleye departing for Crvena Zvezda, Valencia is also in talks with Rodions Kurucs (story) from Murcia to bolster their lineup. Sako’s addition could reshape their frontcourt, especially as they adjust after losing Gabriel to Bayern’s pursuit.
