
Philipp Hartwich has officially signed with Basketball Löwen Braunschweig for the 2025-26 season. The 29-year-old German center, standing at 2.18m, joins from ROSTOCK SEAWOLVES, bringing 133 BBL games of experience to bolster the Löwen’s roster following the departures of Sananda Fru and Gavin Schilling, marking a strategic addition to their frontline.
Proven BBL Record and Season Highlights
Hartwich, who has played five BBL seasons with clubs like SYNTAINICS MBC, BG Göttingen, and s.Oliver Würzburg, showcased his skills with Rostock last season. In 31 games, he averaged 16 minutes, with season highs of 10 rebounds against SKYLINERS and 8 points against FC Bayern, demonstrating his rebounding prowess and scoring ability in the competitive league.
