Partizan Belgrade is strongly pushing to sign Bosnian star Džanan Musa and is currently the frontrunner, though BC Dubai remains a serious contender, BuzzSport.de has learned as of May 18, 2025. Partizan, eager to bolster their roster after missing out on players like Vladimir Lučić (who stayed with Bayern Munich). However, Dubai, previously rumored to have offered a €10M three-year deal (per Sportske.ba), has not matched that figure, giving Partizan an edge in negotiations with the Real Madrid standout, whose contract expires after the 2024-25 season.

Musa, averaging 15.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in the 2024-25 EuroLeague season with Real Madrid (per EuroLeague stats), has been a long-term target for Partizan, as reported by Defensa Central in February 2024, which mentioned a potential €2M per season offer. The earlier €10M rumor from Dubai, reported by Sportske.ba in April 2025, appears to have been overstated, with sources now indicating Dubai’s offer falls short, making Partizan’s proposal more appealing.

The race for Musa’s signature highlights his value as one of Bosnia’s top talents, with both clubs offering a chance to lead their EuroLeague ambitions—Partizan aiming to reclaim domestic and European glory, and Dubai potentially joining the EuroLeague next season (as hinted in prior web results). Musa’s decision will likely hinge on financial terms and his role. As negotiations continue, this transfer saga promises to shape the EuroLeague landscape.
