Nikola Tanasković is set to join Partizan Belgrade from Budućnost, with the 28-year-old Serbian forward-center agreeing to terms, as exclusively reported by Totalbasket.

This strategic acquisition enhances Partizan’s interior depth, complementing their high-profile €5M signing of Jabari Parker and fueling their pursuit of EuroLeague dominance in a summer marked by seismic transfers like Vasilije Micić’s potential Olympiacos move.

Standout Performance in Adriatic League

Tanasković proved his worth in the 2024-25 Adriatic League, averaging 9.5 points and 3.9 rebounds across 39 games with Budućnost. Having developed through Partizan’s youth system before moving to Budućnost in 2019, his return is a homecoming that adds versatility and grit, outshining recent departures like Mike Daum from rival Crvena Zvezda, and aligning with Dante Exum’s awaited decision.

Strategic Fit and Market Context

Under Željko Obradović, Partizan sees Tanasković as a key piece to rebuild their frontcourt, especially as they navigate uncertainties with Exum’s NBA talks and Parker’s integration.
