
The Euroleague club from Tel Aviv managed to secure a ticket to the finals after an 85-73 victory against BCL competitor UNET Holon.

After a tough away game, and despite a 7-0 run by Holon in the fourth quarter, Maccabi Tel Aviv clinched a ticket to the finals, led by Jaylen Hoard with 18 points and by an amazing Tamir Blatt with a 14 points and 10 assists double-double. The Yellows closed the story with an away victory 85-73, after winning the first game at home and advanced to the finals with a 2-0 victory in the semi-final series.
What’s next?
The team will be waiting for the winner of the Hapoel Tel Aviv-Hapoel Jerusalem series, which will conclude in a game 3 clash this Tuesday. The winner will face Maccabi in a best of 3 series for the title.
In parallel, Maccabi began preparations for next season. As we reported here at BuzzSport, the team under new general manager Claudio Coldebella are set to sign NBA ex T. J. Leaf, and are looking for more signings.
