Errick McCollum is set to rejoin Galatasaray after a standout season with Fenerbahçe Beko, where he helped secure the Turkish Cup, Turkish League, and EuroLeague for a historic treble, according to Eurohoops.

The 37-year-old American guard’s move marks his third stint with Galatasaray, following tenures in 2015-2016 and 2017, after a mid-season switch from Pınar Karşıyaka.

Dual-Season Impact and EuroLeague Brilliance

McCollum began 2024/25 with Pınar Karşıyaka, averaging 16 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in the Turkish League. At Fenerbahçe, he contributed 8.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists domestically, and 11.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in the EuroLeague, showcasing his veteran leadership in the treble-winning campaign.

Tactical Return to Familiar Ground

This return to Galatasaray leverages McCollum’s prior experience with the club, contrasting with Fenerbahçe’s recent dominance. His extensive European career—spanning Greece, Israel, Russia, and China—adds depth, while Fenerbahçe may seek a replacement following his departure, potentially shifting their roster strategy post-treble.
