Džanan Musa, the EuroLeague and ACB champion, is leaving Real Madrid to join Dubai BC on a three-year deal, confirmed by Eurohoops’ Stavros Barbarousis.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina star’s last game in a Real Madrid jersey was the decisive ACB Finals win over Valencia, capping a trophy-laden stint since 2022 that included the 2023 EuroLeague title.

Stellar Stats and Legacy in Madrid

In the 2024-25 EuroLeague season, Musa averaged 12.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists across 34 games, while contributing around 13 points per game in the ACB League. His haul of two ACB titles, the 2023 Spanish Cup, and two Supercups underscores his impact, making his departure a significant loss for Real Madrid as Dubai BC prepares for its EuroLeague debut.

Return to ABA League Roots

Musa’s move marks a return to the ABA League, where he began with Cedevita (2015-2018), and positions him as the face of Dubai BC. This shift follows Real Madrid’s recent focus on youth, with no direct replacement named yet, contrasting with Dubai’s ambition to establish a new EuroLeague contender under Musa’s leadership.
