Jabari Parker is close to joining Partizan Belgrade on a €5M two-year deal, as first reported by SDNA. The 30-year-old forward is leaving Barcelona due to financial constraints, despite enjoying his time there.
Stellar Season and Move
Last season, Parker averaged 13.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 39 EuroLeague games, proving his worth. After Panathinaikos couldn’t guarantee minutes, Partizan’s hefty offer lured him, boosting Željko Obradović’s squad, fresh from an ABA League title.
Strategic Signing
This move strengthens Partizan, who fell short of the EuroLeague Play-Ins despite reaching the Serbian Superleague finals. Parker’s agent, Nikos Locos, confirmed to Meridian Sport, “We are very close to an agreement with Partizan.”
