Shaquille McKissic, the 35-year-old American guard/forward (1.96m), has extended his contract with Olympiacos for the 2025/26 season, as revealed on SPORT24’s LIVE Transfers. Following a positive meeting with vice president George Skindilias, his one-year extension is confirmed.
Key Performances Seal the Deal
McKissic earned his extension with standout performances in the Stoiximan GBL finals against Panathinaikos AKTOR, averaging 13 points and 1.6 assists over three of four games. In the 2024/25 EuroLeague, he averaged 7.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in 16 minutes and 26 seconds across 38 appearances, though his role under Giorgos Bartzokas will likely shrink next season.
Veteran Presence in Piraeus
Having joined Olympiacos in 2019, McKissic brings 184 EuroLeague appearances, making him a familiar figure. His experience ensures continuity, despite a reduced rotation spot in the coming year.
