Buzz Sport sources confirmed that Nikola Milutinov is set to remain with Olympiacos Piraeus on June 11, 2025, after a late push from the club overturned his near-move to EA7 Emporio Armani Milan. Despite a €9M three-year offer from Panathinaikos, Milutinov chose to stay following an improved Olympiacos deal.

Milutinov’s Impactful Season

Milutinov, who averaged 8.2 points and 5.8 rebounds in 29 EuroLeague games with a 14.5 PIR, proved his worth in the Greek League Finals, averaging 14 points and 7.5 rebounds post-Moustapha Fall’s injury. His 58.2% field goal rate and unique 20-rebound game highlight his dominance as a rebounding force.

Olympiacos’ Strategic Win

Olympiacos’ new 2+1 deal, worth €6.5-7M, outmaneuvered rivals, securing Milutinov over Panathinaikos’ aggressive bid and Milan’s withdrawal. This retention bolsters their title defense in the expanded 20-team EuroLeague, leveraging his second-chance creation skills for 2025-26.
